The pocket edition of the Prayer is made in field colors. It is convenient to carry with you – as a protective talisman. The Prayer was written in 1936 by one of the ideologists of Ukrainian nationalism, Osyp Mashchak.
Today it has become iconic among patriotic organizations and within military units. Each copy bears the “Idea of the Nation” emblem – a symbol of Ukrainian nationalism.
Copies are sent free of charge to military personnel. Funds received from distribution among civilians are used to print new batches for the defenders.
